From 20th to 22nd May Autodesk European partners’ conference, ONE TEAM EXTENSION was organized in Berlin.

Keynote speakers were: Steve Blum (Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services, Autodesk. Inc.), Andrew Anagnost (Senior Vice President, Industry Strategy and Marketing) and Roland Zelles (Vice President, EMEA Territory Sales, Autodesk, Inc.).

Autodesk outlined further strategies for development and introduced new technologies that already help users practice today. A number of important meetings were also held during the conference.

A large number of companies were praised by Mr. Andrew Anagnost, who in his presentation ranked GRAITEC as the most progressive partner of Autodesk.

Advance Steel Project: Pedestrian foot bridge

Project description:
The footbridge serves as a connection between Masaryk University in Brno, University Campus Bohunice (UCB) and the BRNO CAMPUS SQUARE (BCS) shopping center. The main support beam consists of orthotropic steel deck plates with integrated drainage troughs. Four sloped beams made from welded tapered rectangular cross sections are fixed into the reinforced head of every pillar. The cladding of the footbridge is made from bended composite sheets called BOND, or from fiberglass in the part above the trolley wire.

Robobat present BIM in Practice Seminar at the BUDMA International Fair, Poland

Over 1,000 exhibitors from 33 countries around the world, gathered recently at the 2^nd annual BUDMA International Construction and Architectural Fair, bringing together representatives from across the construction industry.

The Construction Fair, held in Poznań, Poland from 10^th to 13^th March, showcased technology solutions, innovative practices and the latest industry trends alongside specialized exhibitions, seminars and presentations.

Highlights of the fair included an Architectural Forum in collaboration with the Chamber of Architects of the Republic of Poland, exhibiting technologically advanced products and structures; specific Civil Engineering Days focussing on such issues as construction law, and the current hot topic of public building energy saving regulations throughout the EU.

Autodesk Platinum Partner, GRAITEC Robobat was delighted to be invited to be part of the “BIM in Practice” seminar held at the BUDMA International Fair, on Wednesday 11^th March 2015. This presentation was supported by four engineers from leading Autodesk distributor; DATech based in Krakow, participating as workshop leaders, whose exceptional levels of expertise were further reinforced by positive participant evaluation.

GRAITEC Robobat session comprised presentations of own and Autodesk products and solutions, including customer experiences from construction giant SKANSKA and the creative engineering firm, BuroHappold.
