Detail better. Fabricate better. Build better.

The third annual MEP & Structural Fabricators Forum will be held at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas on Monday 14th November 2016, one day before Autodesk University 2016 kicks off. This focused forum and exhibition will be attended by many industry leading businesses and has been specifically tailored for contractors, designers, engineers, details, estimators and fabricators. It is a fantastic chance to network with peers, get the low-down on the latest industry trends and check out the latest software solutions and programs not yet available anywhere else.

Delegates are able to attend a wide variety of focused seminars delivered by business owners and industry professionals, ensuring they come away armed with relevant information and techniques that can be applied to improve their business. Event sponsors will also be on hand throughout the day so there will be plenty of opportunities to discuss and learn more about technology solutions specifically designed for your industry.

Top five reasons to attend the MEP & Structural Fabricators Forum:

  1. Access to the latest industry trends
  2. Meet suppliers who understand your business
  3. Increased knowledge of BIM workflows
  4. Connect with leading industry experts
  5. Network with peers to learn from successes

As a major supplier to the structural sector, GRAITEC will once again be a key sponsor of the MEP & Structural Fabricators Forum. This year, the food hall will feature an exhibition area, open at key times throughout the day and into the evening, which will allow more time for visitors to mingle with peers, meet key sponsors and explore future technologies. Visitors can meet the GRAITEC experts at the exhibition stand between classes to discuss their needs and discover the new range of cutting-edge solutions.

In addition GRAITEC will be presenting an informative class, looking at ‘Design to Fabrication Structural BIM Workflows for Mixed Concrete and Steel Projects‘ at 4:15pm. This session will explore structural workflow optimization, automation and detailing for steel and concrete and adapting to last-minute changes to create openings for MEP services.

Carl Spalding, Product Strategy Director comments:After the enormous success last year we are delighted to be invited back to sponsor the event again. The MEP & Structural Fabricators Forum is a key event in our and our client’s calendars. It presents a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded people all striving to share knowledge and ideas that determines the trends and technology of tomorrow.

Carl adds:A key focus this year is reinforced concrete design and detailing. As this industry looks to migrate from 2D to take advantage of BIM, we will be sharing our knowledge and ideas on this subject. We are also very excited to be featuring a new range of Reinforced Concrete BIM Designers which calculate and design 3D reinforcement cages and automate documentation production directly from Autodesk® Revit®“.
